The International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), which has members in 58 countries, is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the goals of saving lives and protecting property during emergencies and disasters.

IAEM Councils
The International Association of Emergency Managers is governed by an International Board of Directors which includes representatives from each of the seven (7) IAEM Councils, plus one (1) additional Council representative per 500 members.
The seven IAEM Councils include:
IAEM-Asia (Dues for Individual Members: $80 USD)
Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Burma/Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Greater China (China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan),Mongolia,Korea (north and south), Japan,Philippines,Malaysia,Singapore,and Indonesia.
IAEM-Canada (Dues for Individual Members: $100)
The IAEM-Canada Council includes all provinces and territories in Canada.
IAEM-Europa (Dues for Individual Members: $80)
The IAEM Europa Council includes Albania, Andora, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Gibraltar, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldavia, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Takijistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vatican, and United Kingdom (Channel Islands, England, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales).
IAEM-International (Dues for Individual Members: $50)
The IAEM International Council includes all non-U.S. members who do reside outside the above Council areas. This currently includes Anguilla, Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Brazil, Caribbean, Cayman Islands, China, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Ghana, Guatemala, Iran, Kenya, Kuwait, Mexico, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Tanzania.
IAEM-Oceania (Dues for Individual Members: $83)
The IAEM-Oceania Council includes Australia, New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Fiji, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Guam, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, American Samoa, Cook Islands, French Polynesia, Niue, Pitcairn, Samoa, Tokelau, Tona, Tuvalu, and Wallis & Futuna Islands.
IAEM-Students (Dues for Individual Student Members: $25)
The IAEM-Students Council includes student members of IAEM.
IAEM-USA (Dues for Individual Members: $170)
The IAEM-USA Council includes 10 geographic regions that correspond with those established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) plus a student member region. |
